Staff Mobility

Staff Mobility

Staff Mobility Activities can be carried out in 2 ways.

  1. Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA)
  2. Staff Mobility for Staff Training (STT)

Staff mobility for teaching assignment is the activity field that provides an opportunity to a staff, who is obliged to give lecture in a higher education institution in Turkey having ECHE, to give lecture to students in a higher education institution having ECHE in one of the program countries, and carrying out joint academic/educational activities with the counterpart institution about lecturing.

Staff Mobility for Staff Training is the activity field that provides an opportunity for any staff employed in a higher education institution in Turkey having ECHE to receive education in any of the program countries. It is possible for the person to receive several trainings (such as on-the-job-training, observation process) to improve his/her skills about his/her current job within the scope of this activity.

Conference participations are not supported within the scope of activity.

Within the scope of the mobility for staff training, it is also possible for the staff, who is employed in a higher education institution having ECHE, to go to a higher education institution or an enterprise having ECHE for receiving training

The enterprise to be gone for receiving training can be a training center, research center, higher education institution or another organization, which fits to enterprise definition, abroad.

Within this framework, an appropriate enterprise is a private or public institution/organization and a venture engaging in all kinds of economic activity including social economics regardless of their size, legal status and economic sector in which they operate.

Staff training is a full time activity, and the grant payment is done for the days that full training was received.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PERIODS FOR STAFF MOBILITY FOR TEACHING ASSIGNMENT

Activity period for staff mobility for teaching assignment is two days at minimum and 2 months at maximum excluding travel.

In addition to this, it is required to lecture for 8 course hours for the activity to be considered as a valid activity.
